Satisfied Happiness
Do I really want to be happy? Am I afraid of being satisfied and conte?
Another misconception about happiness explained by Rabbi Norah.
Does satisfaction leads to discontent?
Does achievement leads to unhappiness?
Does success leads to stagnation?
Does “ I am Fine” means I do not do anything?
Misconception 2: "If I become content and satisfied with what I have, I will lose my motivation to achieve more."
Happiness does not drain your energy. It adds more!
Ask a happy person: "I have a boat. Do you want to go fishing?"
He will say: "Great! Let s go!"
Now ask someone who is depressed: "Come on, let us go fishing!"
He says, "I am tired. Maybe tomorrow. And anyway, it might rain..."
Happy people are energetic and ambitious. There is never enough time to do everything they want to do.
The same example is true for any activity. If I am happy I am ready to take any challenge. I am ready to explore.
If I am happy, I feel good to try new things. I am ready to exercise. I am ready to go out. I am eager to meet people and friends. I look forward to new places, people and events.
If I am happy, I take upon new activities with enthusiasm and would be putting more focus and more efforts into it.
When I am happy, my chances of success increases. This again brings more happiness and motivation. It becomes a cyclic process.
So let me practice being happy!!
