Holi White

The White …….

Colour of peace, symbol of tranquility, messenger of peace and an indicator of acceptance and friendship.

Colour white has always been a reminder of joyful co- existence, truth and tolerance.

White means serenity. White means perfection. White means honesty. White means pure.

White brings all this to my mind. What a feeling of peaceful existence and happiness!

A Total “NO CONFLICT ZONE”

That is what I have been wanting in my small life and even smaller world.

A pure white world. Peaceful, friendly, serene and perfect.

I remember running away from holi colours during the festival. Running away from water  and avoiding people coming too close to my personal comfort zone.

Yes I always wanted a perfect white life and also enjoyed colours but…..I wanted colours my way.

My colours, my way, with my people, from my people and just according to my liking.

I did not like holi because it was not ‘my way’. It was colourful but it was always a chaos from my perspective. I wondered how people enjoy this violent, un organized and totally useless and unwarranted spread of colors and water.

I just wanted my white or my white with my colours in my way.

I want my life to be perfect and that too perfect in my way with my likings and my proportion of things and events in it.

I want my life white with   people of my colours  and my way of thinking or behavior.

But what is white?

I thought it to be an absence of all the colours!!

Whereas, it is just the opposite. The white I am so desirable of is just a perfect mix of all the colours.

No , I can not achieve white with just my colours and my way of mixing them.

If I want white, a perfect white, I must accept a perfect mix all the colours.

I want a white life,,,,, I accept all events, things and people with all the colours.

I accept the colours to enjoy a white.

That is what holi reminds me of.

‘I am fine’ with all the colours!!!
